About The Founder

Verify.IM was founded in 2010 by Erik Bowman. Erik has made a substantial impact on the Internet, dating back to his original founding of iMessenger.com in 1998, one of the first online social networking services. Prior to that Erik was tapped to create electronic payment processing and HIPPA-compliant healthcare software while working as a VP of Technology for a major business bank (now part of Comerica).

In fact, a lot of what makes Verify.IM so unique and effective was derived from Erik's time working with credit card, healthcare and insurance data.
